What is Discovery Time?

This exciting, activity-based programme provides opportunity for students to explore in a fun, challenging, student-directed, authentic context and allows for a wide range of activities from the arts to the sciences, following student’s ideas, interests and passions.

Why do Discovery Time?

In our schools we need to be educating the whole child – catering for the social, emotional and physical as well as the cognitive development of the student.

During Discovery Time Lucknow students are given opportunities to engaged in:

Play based learning - self-directing and actively involved in their learning.

Activity based learning - more powerful understanding and ownership of new knowledge.

Student directed learning - making their own choices about what they will do and how they will go about it.  

Creative and innovative learning - allows children to direct their own learning, be actively involved and playful then creativity, innovation and problem solving occur naturally.
